Define Trade OÜ (hereinafter Resale.ee) products sold in the e-shop are covered by a warranty, the duration of which is specified separately for each product. Our goal is to provide transparent, honest, and customer-friendly warranty solutions for used equipment.
1. Sales Warranty Content
During the validity of the sales warranty, we will eliminate any defects that appear in equipment purchased from us, except for defects referred to in the equipment condition description at the time of purchase.
If repair of the equipment is not possible or is not economically justified, we will replace the equipment with an equivalent device or agree with the customer on another reasonable solution.
The purpose of the warranty is to ensure that the purchased equipment meets reasonable expectations and works correctly during normal use.
2. Procedure in Case of Warranty
If a defect appears in the purchased equipment during the warranty period that you believe falls under Resale.ee's responsibility, please contact us as soon as possible.
The equipment can be brought to the branch:

The equipment must be properly packaged and, if possible, include the charger if the problem may be related to power or charging.
NB! Resale.ee is not responsible for damage caused during transport if the device was not sufficiently protected in packaging.
3. Data Retention
Please save all necessary information to another data storage device before bringing the device in for warranty service.
During warranty repair it may be necessary to:
- restore the device
- reinstall the operating system
- testing
- delete data
Therefore, Resale.ee is not responsible for the preservation of information on the device.
4. Warranty does not apply in the following cases
Warranty does not apply if:
- the device has not been used for its intended purpose or in normal conditions;
- the device has been damaged due to careless use;
- the device has been opened, modified or repaired by a third party;
- the device has fallen or suffered a strong impact;
- the device has dent marks;
- the device has suffered liquid or moisture damage;
- the device configuration has been modified elsewhere than at Resale.ee;
- the device has been damaged due to voltage fluctuation, charging error or lightning;
- the device serial number is missing, removed or modified;
- the purchase document is missing or has been modified;
- it is a software issue;
- it is normal wear and tear (such as battery, cosmetic wear of the housing, keyboard shine, etc.).
5. Battery Warranty and Claims
Batteries in used devices are consumable components and their durability may depend on usage patterns, software, screen brightness, temperature and other factors.
Batteries are tested before sale and battery information is published in the product sheet.
If the battery life differs more than 30% the information specified on the product card, the customer has the right to within 30 days of purchase file a claim.
In this case, a new battery test is performed using the same methodology.
If the new test does not meet the requirements:
- the battery is replaced with a battery within the permitted limits
If the new test meets the requirements:
If the device is sent by parcel machine or courier, shipping costs will be added 10 €.
No additional charge applies if picked up on-site.
6. Cases Outside Warranty
If the inspection reveals that the case is not covered by warranty, the following will be added:
- diagnostic fee 20 €
- if necessary, repair costs according to the quote
Paid repairs are carried out only with the customer's consent.
7. Processing Time
Warranty cases are resolved within a reasonable time, depending on the nature of the fault, availability of spare parts and workload. If possible, the customer will be notified in advance of the expected schedule.
8. Replacement Device
In case of prolonged warranty cases, Resale.ee offers, if possible and upon customer's request, a replacement device for temporary use.
The provision of a replacement device depends on stock availability and the nature of the specific case. The replacement device does not have to be the same model, but is intended for continuing routine work and daily use during the warranty process.
9. Validity of Terms
These warranty terms are effective from 01.11.2023.
Resale.ee reserves the right to update the terms in accordance with legislation and service development.
